All About Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters
Rinnai tankless water heaters are the best tankless water heaters in our opion. But before we even get into the reason why we think that, perhaps you should know how Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters actually work. See please keep reading if you would like to know exactly how they work.
Rinnai tankless water heaters (or any tankless water heater for that matter) instantly heat up water. The whole point of this is so that they are able to run very efficiently and save you a lot of money on your electric and or gas bill. So how does this all work you ask?
Basically cold water flows into the Rinnai tankless water heater, and then it triggers a burner when it enters the system. The burner then heats up the water, which is passed through a long tube, which is rather long, and folded onto its self. This is the trick to heating up water so fast; you have to separate it first (which is how radiators work.)
Once the hot water from the Rinnai tankless water heater is heated up, it then comes out the output port on the system, and is then sent to your hot water faucet, or your shower etc.
One of the best things about Rinnai tankless water heaters is that they quite literally never run out of hot water, unlike normal (tanked) water heaters. This means that you can literally take a shower for as long as you want, and you will never have an issue. This also means that other things can be run at the same time too (such as bathroom or kitchen sinks etc.)
All of the Rinnai tankless water heaters run off of propane or natural gas, which are far more efficient than electric tankless water heaters. This means your monthly hot water bill will be a heck of a lot lower. This also means that the system does not need to be hooked into your electric system (other than for the basic functions of the system, NOT the heating.)
Another cool thing about Rinnai tankless water heaters is that they are very small. Rather than take up a good portion of your room, you only have to have a small little box mounted on the side of your wall. The Rinnai tankless water heaters are also very light; far lighter than normal water heaters in fact.
For best results, you will want to install your Rinnai tankless water heater as close to the shower as possible, as this will reduce the time that you have to wait for the water to get hot when you turn the shower on. Also, the size of the Rinnai tankless water heaters that you will want to go with will depend on the size of your house.
Generally a 7.5 GPM (gallons per minute) Rinnai tankless water heater will be sufficient for most normal sized houses. If you have a really large home you may want to go with a 9.5 GPM Rinnai tankless water heater.
The quality of the Rinnai tankless water heaters is very good too, as with any Rinnai product. So if you go with Rinnai water heaters, you wont have to worry about the unit breaking or dying on you.
